They achieved six world championships and 84 grand prix wins together, across a period of 12 years. The last hurrah started rather poorly, with Lewis getting knocked out in the first segment of qualifying and finding himself in 16th position on the grid. He made amends in the race though, working his way through the field to ultimately steal fourth place from team-mate Russell on his very last lap for the squad. After the race Lewis performed some celebratory doughnuts and then stood atop the car, savouring his last moments in silver before joining the red of Ferrari for 2025.
