The Team Associated RC8B4.1e brings the latest in 1/8 scale electric buggy technology to the track. This updated platform offers unparalleled versatility, allowing drivers to select between Rear Weight Bias (RWB) or Front Weight Bias (FWB) chassis configurations. With a focus on lowering the center of gravity and increasing durability, the 4.1e is a performance-driven machine designed to handle the massive torque of modern brushless systems.
Modular Chassis & Advanced Damping
The RC8B4.1e is built to adapt. The revised chassis design and side guards support multiple battery and motor layouts to fine-tune weight distribution. Handling is significantly improved via shorter 16mm front and rear shocks and lightweight aluminum towers, which drastically lower the buggy's center of gravity. Combined with updated rear swaybar geometry, the RC8B4.1e remains composed whether the track is "blue-groove" smooth or rough and blown out.
RWB or FWB Selection
Unique modular design allows you to choose your chassis bias to prioritize either rear-end traction or front-end steering bite.
Low CG Architecture
Shorter shock bodies and lightweight aluminum towers keep the weight as low as possible for maximum cornering speeds and stability.
Elite Drivetrain
Features 92mm universal driveshafts and a 44/13 ring and pinion bevel gear set, optimized for high-efficiency brushless power delivery.

Pro Racing Insight: The modularity of the RC8B4.1e allows you to run "saddle packs" or a standard 4S block. For high-grip carpet or clay tracks, the FWB setting can provide that extra front-end bite needed for lightning-fast turn-in, while the RWB setting excels on looser, outdoor dirt tracks.
