The Team Associated RC8B4.1 hits the scene as the definitive evolution of the RC8 platform. Incorporating the critical data learned from the RWB (Regular Wheelbase) project, the 4.1 chassis fully integrates a tapered chassis design with even more performance updates. Every element—from the shock towers to the swaybar geometry—has been meticulously revised to create a buggy that is more stable, more durable, and faster than ever before.
Lower Center of Gravity & Precision Suspension
The RC8B4.1 focuses on lowering the Center of Gravity (CG) to enhance cornering speeds and stability. This is achieved through shorter 16mm front and rear shocks paired with lightweight aluminum shock towers. To refine handling, the kit includes updated 6-hole machined pistons and +1 aluminum steering block arms, delivering sharper steering response particularly on low-grip track surfaces.
RWB Tapered Chassis
A fully integrated Regular Wheelbase design with tapered side guards for optimized flex and superior handling in rough conditions.
Enhanced Drivetrain
Equipped with 92mm universal driveshafts and 17mm outdrives, coupled with a 44/13 ring and pinion bevel gear set for maximum efficiency.
Refined Swaybar Geometry
Updated rear swaybar geometry improves drivability and traction over both smooth blue-groove and bumpy off-road tracks.
