It's lightweight design, of 1730 grams (3.81lbs), aids in reducing disc loading and helping reduce crash costs by eliminating heavy elements such as boom supports from a conventional design. While light and nimble, the 5.5N is also incredibly robust and stiff, providing pilots with a responsive model that can handle any maneuver with ease.
